Deborah Minor, Ph.D., founded Drug Discovery Alliances (DDA) in 2001. Since this time her company has successfully supported hundreds of pharmaceutical companies to realize end-to-end solutions in drug discovery, drug development, and commercialization. By leveraging her 25+ years of experience in the industry, she has led DDA to become a global key player in connecting pharmaceutical companies with manufacturers and consultants to provide a full continuum of services needed to support biotech and pharmaceutical research and development.
While obtaining her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Deborah worked as an organic chemist for Rhone Poulenc. Later on she moved into business development rolls for Accelrys, and MDL. The primary focus was to assist in deploying cutting edge modeling technologies and chemical databases to the pharmaceutical industry. She’ is currently serving as a board member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Division of Publications, the world’s largest scientific society. Her deep experience as a senior chemist and unique perspective on understanding the intricacies of drug development helps her clients realize optimal solutions supporting pharmaceutical R&D.
